Collection: Double knit

Double knit, also known as DK or 8-ply - such a standard weight for making cosy sweaters, warm scarves and shawl and kids clothes.

Currently I'm dyeing a 100% extra fine superwash merino, which has a lovely feel to it.  It's a slightly heavier DK, almost a light worsted; I like it best knitted on 3.75 - 4mm needles. Please note the skeins are a little larger than the more common 100g skeins.
